US Sher Technologies to build solid waste treatment complex in Crimea
. The company Sher Technologies, LLC of the United States of America intends to implement in the Crimea a project for solid domestic waste treatment.
The head of the company, Rohini Mattu, disclosed this during his meeting with Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Anatoliy Mohyliov, the press service of the Crimean government reported.
The head of the company said cooperation with the Crimea is a priority for them, adding the investor undertakes to finance the project, create the appropriate facilities and train the personnel.
Anatoliy Mohyliov said that increasing investment attractiveness of the region is one of the priorities of the autonomy's government.
"The President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, has identified Crimea as a priority development region. We are working to create most comfortable conditions for businesses. The power guarantees maximum assistance to investors who create jobs and production favorable to the Crimea," the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea said.
The project involves the construction of a complex for the processing of municipal solid waste with the production of electricity. An important advantage of this project is its energy security. Simferopol district and Kerch are previously considered as grounds for the project implementation.
As already reported, the project for solid waste management in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was presented to potential investors at the 3rd International Investment Business Forum of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Yalta Business Meetings.
Given the specificity of the recreational area, in all in the Crimea it is proposed to implement five projects to build facilities for the disposal of solid waste.
