Ukrzaliznytsia testing Czech double-deck electric train

. The EJ 675-series double-deck suburban electric train produced by Skoda vagonka on Saturday has started its first test trip on the route Kharkiv - Dnipropetrovsk - Donetsk - Luhansk - Donetsk - Krasny Lyman - Kupiansk - Kharkiv.

On April 30 the trials will continue at the section Kharkiv - Kyiv - Donetsk - Mariupol -Kharkiv, the Ukrainian national railway carrier Ukrzaliznytsia said in a statement.

A reminder that in mid-March the Czech side handed over the first electric train Skoda to the Ukrainian delegation. In Kharkiv the first Skoda arrived on March 25, the second - on April 20.

These trains will shuttle on circular routes Kharkiv - Donetsk - Mariupol - Donetsk - Kyiv - Kharkiv and Kharkiv - Dnipropetrovsk - Donetsk - Luhansk - Donetsk -Kharkiv.
