Ukraine’s Cabinet to raise pensions in October

The Government of Ukraine is preparing to raise pensions by UAH 200-1,000 starting from October.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this at a briefing in Kharkiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I want the Cabinet to raise pensions starting from October 1. The increase will be substantial: from 200 to 1,000 hryvnias," Groysman said.

According to him, "this requires the support for the government draft law on pension reform."
