Local budgets in country increased by 3.5-7 times due to decentralization – Groysman

This year the local budgets have already increased by 3.5-7 times as a result of the decentralization reform.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this at a meeting of the Regional Development Council, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"When a mayor can tell how to solve problems, this is the result of decentralization, the reform that we started three years ago. This helps to accumulate resources for the repair of schools, hospitals, kindergartens. Thanks to the decentralization reform the local budgets have increased by 3.5-7 times," Groysman stressed.
