First Vice PM Kubiv: Ukraine achieved macroeconomic stabilization in 2016
First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv stated this during a round table meeting dedicated to economic issues of the government’s medium-term priority action plan for the period until 2020, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Ukraine's economy in 2016 overcame the aftermath of the prolonged economic crisis and achieved macroeconomic stabilization,” said Stepan Kubiv.
According to him, Government managed to gradually renew ruined financial and economic relations and outlined major directions for economic development.
As earlier reported, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade expects that due to the increase in investments and exports, economic growth will reach 3% in 2017.
