Ukraine allocates UAH 2B to boost ‘Drone Army. Bonus’ program for troops
According to Ukrinform, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal announced the decision on Facebook.
"At today’s government meeting, the proposal from the Ministry of Defense to redirect remaining funds from the Ministry of Strategic Industries to boost financing for the Drone Army. Bonus project was approved," Shmyhal said.
He emphasized that this initiative allows military units to accumulate points for destroying enemy targets, which can then be used to order Ukrainian-made drones and electronic warfare systems via the Brave1 Market platform, and receive them through the DOT-Chain Defence digital system.
"We are expanding support for our troops, continuing digitalization, and removing bureaucratic barriers so that our defenders can receive what they need as quickly and conveniently as possible," Shmyhal added.
Previously, the government expanded the Drone Army. Bonus program to allow troops to earn points for logistics operations using ground robotic systems.
