The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified three fiber-optic FPV systems produced by the JSC Ukroboronprom enterprises.

This was reported on Telegram by Ukroboronprom CEO Herman Smetanin, according to Ukrinform.

“Three fiber-optic FPV systems produced by Ukroboronprom enterprises have successfully passed codification and interagency testing with the National Guard of Ukraine,” the statement reads.

According to Smetanin, the drones are capable of covering significant distances, and the use of fiber-optic systems makes them immune to enemy radio interference, greatly increasing their operational effectiveness.

The head of Ukroboronprom noted that state weapons manufacturers are actively mastering advanced technologies and are ready for their large-scale deployment.
