Newly appointed Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal met with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, and Chief of the General Staff, Major General Andrii Hnatov, to assess the battlefield situation and the urgent needs of Ukrainian defenders.

Shmyhal reported this via Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The meeting focused on enhancing Ukraine’s defense self-sufficiency and preparing new arms deliveries, including those from international partners.

“It’s critical that any new enemy offensives crash against the strength of our army. We’ll work together to fulfill our objectives and strengthen Ukraine’s defense capability,” Shmyhal emphasized.
