The Swedish International Development Agency, Sida, is allocating a new assistance package within the framework of the Tallinn Mechanism, an international initiative that coordinates assistance from 11 partner countries in strengthening cyber resilience.

This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrinform saw.

"Sweden allocates 590+ million hryvnias to strengthen Ukraine's cybersecurity... The funds will be used to upgrade IT infrastructure, strengthen protection of digital products, and train employees at key government agencies," the report says.

The ministry noted that the war continues not only on the battlefield, but also in cyberspace. In 2024, Ukraine’s public sector and state bodies were targeted in over 2,000 cyberattacks.
