Luxembourg will allocate an additional EUR 10 million to support Ukraine's defense industry.

This was stated by the nation’s Defense Minister Yuriko Backes at a joint briefing in Kyiv with Ukrainian and Foreign Ministers, Andrii Sybiha and Xavier Bettel, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“For the first time this year, upon my recommendation, we have in the Luxembourg budget an article of a aligned specifically dedicated to your country. We don't have this for any other country, so we have a specific budget line for military aid to Ukraine, which has been filled with 80 million euros for this year as a minimum. And today, I am very glad to announce that immediately we will put at your disposal another 10 million euros of investment into your defense,” she said.
