Netherlands to invest EUR 700M in drone production, including in Ukraine – PM

Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof has discussed with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky the possibility of investing EUR 700 million in drone production, with part of the investment directed toward Ukraine.
Schoof announced this on social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.
"Good to have the chance to talk just now with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about developments in Ukraine following Sunday's meeting in London. Among other things we discussed a Dutch investment package worth EUR 700 million for drones, aimed partly at Ukraine's defense industry," he wrote.
Schoof also reaffirmed the Netherlands' unwavering support for Ukraine in its struggle against Russian aggression, pledging continued political, military, financial, and moral support.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that Zelensky and Schoof had discussed coordination with international partners and the preparation of a joint plan to achieve a just peace.
