Umerov informs Bundeswehr’s Inspector General about Russia’s preparation of new divisions

“Germany is our reliable partner and friend, providing Ukraine with the largest volume of military aid among all European countries. General Breuer reaffirmed Germany’s unwavering support for Ukraine, particularly within the Ramstein format,” Umerov emphasized.

“We discussed the security situation and the enemy’s plans. We informed the general about russia’s preparations to form new divisions, which pose a threat not only to Ukraine but to all of Europe,” he further stated.

The meeting also covered the status of military aid from allies and the development of Ukraine’s defense industry.

Lieutenant General Yevhen Moisiuk presented the reforms being implemented within Ukraine’s Defense Forces, including new approaches to mobilization and unit management.

"We are open to studying and adapting the best practices of the Bundeswehr to strengthen the Ukrainian military," Umerov stressed, thanking the German people, government, and General Breuer for their support of Ukraine’s soldiers.

Ukraine and Germany continue their cooperation for victory and a just peace, the Defense Minister stressed.

Previously, Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief General Oleksandr Syrskyi also met with General Breuer to discuss Ukraine’s needs for ammunition, military equipment, and military training.
