Ukraine Army’s operators of automatic and man-portable anti-tank grenade launchers are undergoing a live-fire training session in Kherson region, near the de-facto border with the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

That’s according to the press service of the Ukrainian Army’s General Staff, Ukrinform reports referring to the General Staff’s Facebook page.

It is noted that the effective use of anti-tank weapons in actual combat conditions on the administrative border with the temporarily occupied territory requires constant and thorough training.

"Wherever the units of the Pivdenne grouping of forces hold their defense, there will be no chance for Russia to invade; while the real victory in this war will be about not only peace on our terms, but also about Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO," the General Staff wrote in a statement.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on January 4, Ukrainian military scouts performing combat missions near the administrative border with the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea trained for close-range combat.
