Russia redeploys drones and electronic warfare stations to occupied Donbas
“The Russian Federation continues to use border areas, which are not controlled by Ukraine, to supply weapons, ammunition and military equipment to the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Since the beginning of March, new batches of anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, unmanned aerial vehicles, electronic warfare stations and several dozen military vehicles have been delivered to the formations and units of the first and the second army corps by road. More than 5,000 tonnes of fuel have been delivered by rail,” Defense Ministry Spokesperson Maria Salnik said at a briefing, citing the data of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
At the same time, Salnik noted that reports spread on social networks and Russian media about the relocation of more than 100 T-72 tanks from the Russian Federation to the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions were fakes used by enemy propaganda to increase destructive influence on the local population.
As reported, five ceasefire violations were recorded in the Joint Forces Operation area over the past 24 hours. Ukrainian troops sustained no losses.
