Russian armed formations continue to carry out engineering work in the occupied Donbas to construct new and upgrade existing positions, which is a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement reached on July 22, 2020.

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, the schemes of engineering work carried out by Russian-backed forces were presented at a meeting of the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation in February.

On February 4, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces recorded engineering work being carried out by Russian armed formations to construct their positions near the Donetsk airport's radar station.

On the same day, the Ukrainian military recorded the fact of engineering work conducted by the Russian occupation forces to equip new and upgrade existing positions near Zholobok.

On February 7, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces again recorded engineering work carried out by the invaders to fortify their positions near the Donetsk airport.

On February 11, the Ukrainian servicemen recorded how engineering work was conducted by the enemy to construct the new positions of the Russian armed formations near Zolote-5. On February 13, they recorded how the invaders carried out engineering work to equip new positions near Troitske.

On February 14 and 15, Ukrainian servicemen again documented the fact of engineering work being carried out to equip the positions of the Russian armed formations near the Donetsk airport.

"Such actions are a gross violation of paragraph A of the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire Regime of July 22, 2020 and are regarded by the Ukrainian side as offensive actions of a provocative nature," said Ihor Lossovskyi, Deputy Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the International Organizations in Vienna.
