Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ukraine Melinda Simmons and Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anton Korynevych made a working visit to the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea.
As the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports, the delegation visited entry-exit checkpoints “Kalanchak” and “Chaplynka”. The guests got acquainted with the procedures for crossing the administrative border, the infrastructure of the checkpoints, and the conditions of border guards' service.
"The staff of entry-exit checkpoints on the border with Crimea works very professionally, but we understand that these checkpoints should not be here," Simmons said.
