Ukraine initiating urgent meeting of TCG’s security subgroup due to escalation in Donbas

Ukraine is initiating an emergency meeting of the security subgroup in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) due to the escalation on the contact line.
Oleksiy Arestovych, an information policy adviser to the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG on resolving the situation in Donbas, wrote about this on his Facebook page, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"The Ukrainian delegation is initiating an emergency meeting of the security subgroup in the TCG," he said.
As reported, at 00:28 on October 30, the enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms near Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk). As a result of the shelling, two Ukrainian servicemen received fatal injuries.
The units of the Joint Forces gave an adequate response to the fire provocations of the enemy, forcing the Russian occupation troops to return to the ceasefire regime.
