In the Novoaidar district of Luhansk region, counterintelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained a militant of the so-called "Luhansk People’s Republic" who was on a nationwide wanted list on suspicion of involvement in a terrorist organization.

The militant was detained on the contact line near the village of Trokhizbenka (32km north-west of Luhansk), the SBU press center informs.

As noted, the man joined Russian terrorist groups in late 2014. He has participated in hostilities against the forces of Ukrainian Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation since 2015.
