Three cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have been registered in the Ukrainian Armed Forces as of the morning of April 6, with 99 people in self-isolation, the press service of the medical forces command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has reported.

"Three cases of an acute respiratory illness caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 were recorded in the Ukrainian Armed Forces as of 07:00 on April 6. Ninety-nine people are in isolation (including self-isolation). The number of servicemen whose isolation is coming to an end in the next three days is 28 people," the report reads.

According to the press service, an analysis of diseases among the military and civilians shows that the infection most often occurs during episodic meetings with friends and relatives.

The medical forces command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces called on citizens to observe the rules of quarantine and personal hygiene and not to expose themselves and their families to danger with unnecessary contacts.

A total of 1,319 cases of coronavirus disease were recorded in Ukraine as of April 6. Twenty-eight people recovered, and 38 died of the disease.
