The Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine has confirmed reports of seven civilian casualties in Donbas, according to an OSCE report.

"The Mission confirmed reports of seven civilian casualties, including one fatality, bringing the total number recorded since the beginning of the year to 21: two killed and 19 injured," reads the report of March 9, 2020.

Between February 24 and March 8, the SMM recorded about 9,200 ceasefire violations, including 800 explosions. This compares with about 13,100 and 1,200, respectively, in the previous two-week period.

"The Mission’s freedom of movement was restricted 47 times, all but one in non-government-controlled areas, mostly in southern Donetsk region. SMM UAVs were subjected to signal interference on both sides of the contact line on 25 occasions," the report says.
