Invaders violate ceasefire in Donbas six times

“The enemy used 82mm mortars banned under the Minsk agreements, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, the Russian-led forces used 82mm mortars, mounted antitank grenade launchers, antitank missile system to shell Ukrainian positions near Opytne (12km north-west of Donetsk); grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms – outside Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk); grenade launchers of different systems and heavy machine guns – in the area of Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy fired grenade launchers of different systems on Ukrainian positions near Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk).

Yesterday, March 8, Russian invaders fired anti-tank missile system on a truck of one of the Joint Forces units heading to the positions of Ukrainian troops.

As an anti-tank guided missile hit the truck, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, two more were wounded and another one was injured. In addition, three Ukrainian defenders were wounded as a result of the enemy shelling.

Today, the Russian-occupation troops have not opened fire yet.
