Ukrainian troops come under mortar fire near Zaitseve – Defense Ministry

Since the beginning of the day, Russian-led forces have opened fire at the positions of the Joint Forces near Zaitseve in Donetsk region.
Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Maksym Prauta said this at a briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Today, the Russian-led forces have violated ceasefire in the JFO area. They used 82mm mortars, a mounted antitank grenade launcher, machine guns, and small arms to fire at the positions of the Joint Forces near Zaitseve (62km north-east of Donetsk),” the spokesman said.
According to available information, as a result of the enemy shelling, no casualties among the Ukrainian military have been reported.
