“Since the beginning of the day, Russian-occupation troops have opened fire twice in Luhansk direction. At 06:20, for half an hour, the enemy was firing mounted and hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns on the positions of the Joint Forces near Krymske [42km north-west of Luhansk]. And after 08:00, the invaders fired 6 shells from 82mm mortar on our strongholds near Orikhove [57km north-west of Luhansk],” Ukraine’s Defense Ministry Spokesperson Maksym Prauta said at the briefing.

According to Prauta, one member of the Joint Forces was heavily wounded as a result of shelling.

In both cases, the Ukrainian military returned fire, using weapons not banned under the Minsk agreements.
