The European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats (the Hybrid CoE), together with the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, will prepare the national regulatory framework for responding to hybrid threats, the ministry's press service has reported.

"Today, on March 2, as part of a working visit of the delegation of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry to the Republic of Finland, Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Alina Frolova met with Director of the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats Ms. Teija Tiilikainen. During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation, in particular, the initiative to involve experts of the Hybrid CoE in developing the relevant national regulatory framework in the field of responding to hybrid threats," the report reads.

According to Frolova, Ukraine is interested in establishing cooperation with the Hybrid CoE in order to obtain information, familiarize itself with the performance of experts and develop tools to counter hybrid threats.

The European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats is an international organization of 27 EU and/or NATO member states whose activities are aimed at enhancing EU and NATO capabilities in responding to modern threats to international security.
