Ambassadors of Estonia, Latvia and Poland arrive in JFO area in Donbas

Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine Juris Poikāns, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine Kaimo Kuusk, and Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine Bartosz Cichocki have visited the Joint Forces Operation area in Donbas.

“The delegation of extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors of Estonia, Latvia and Poland, as well as the military chaplains of Latvia, arrived in the area of ​​the Joint Forces Operation. The purpose of the visit is to familiarize with the ongoing situation in eastern Ukraine and to provide humanitarian assistance, in particular, clothing and equipment for medical institutions. It is very important now to show the world the real situation in order to prove the aggression of the Russian Federation and our desire for peace,” said Assistant Commander of the Joint Forces Dmytro Borodavko, the press service of the JFO Headquarters reports.

Ukraine wants to restore peace within the framework of agreements in the Normandy format and the Trilateral Contact Group, the Assistant Commander added.
