NSDC holds meeting on countering aggression against Ukraine in information sector

Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Serhiy Kryvonos held a coordination meeting on countering aggression against Ukraine in the information sector, the NSDC’s press service has reported.

According to Kryvonos, establishing clear interagency coordination, information exchange, unified basic narratives, a deliberate state reaction to information offensive actions against Ukraine, a clear system of information space protection, active information offensive attacks against our enemy can provide significant benefits in the fight for peace and independence of Ukraine.

On implementation of the Presidential Decree №2009/2019 and the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of May 7, 2019 "On measures to strengthen the state defense capability" and implementation of the Five Steps program, the NSDC deputy secretary held a closed coordination meeting with representatives of the law enforcement agencies regarding information fight and information counteraction to aggression against Ukraine.
