“The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars banned under the Minsk agreements, grenade launchers of different systems, antitank missile system and small arms to shell Ukrainian troops,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.
In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, the Russian-led forces fired automatic grenade launchers and small arms on Ukrainian positions near Novotroitske (36km south-west of Donetsk) and Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk); sniping weapons and small arms – outside Marinka (23km south-west of Donetsk); small arms – in the area of Talakivka (17km north-east of Mariupol); grenade launchers of different systems and small arms – in the area of Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk) and Pyshchevyk (25km north-east of Mariupol); automatic grenade launcher – near Opytne (12km north-west of Donetsk); hand-held grenade launcher and small arms – in the area of Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk). Near Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol), in order to do the utmost damage to the Joint Forces, the enemy used several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including one for dropping grenades.
In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, invaders used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian troops near Zaitseve (62km north-east of Donetsk) and Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk); 82mm mortars and small arms – near Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk); 120mm and 82mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and small arms - outside Novhorodske (35km north of Donetsk); antitank missile system – in the area of Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk).
Eight Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in the enemy shelling over the past day.
Today, the armed formations of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries have opened fire from 120mm mortars in the area of Novoluhanske .
