The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine recorded 35 ceasefire violations in Donbas on July 24, according to an OSCE report.

"In Donetsk region, the SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations, including, however, a similar number of explosions (32), compared with the previous reporting period (35)," the report says.

The majority of the ceasefire violations, including almost half of the explosions, were recorded in areas north-west of Yasynuvata (non-government-controlled, 16km north-east of Donetsk) and in areas north-north-east of Stepne (government-controlled, 29km south-west of Donetsk).

"In Luhansk region, the Mission recorded more ceasefire violations, including three explosions, compared with the previous reporting period (one explosion)," the report notes.

As Ukrinform reported, on July 17, the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk agreed to ensure a ceasefire regime in Donbas starting from July 21 and to expand the presence of the OSCE SMM.
