Ukrainian sappers continue mine clearance operations in Donetsk region

A total of 73 explosive devices have been removed in Donetsk region over the past weekend, the State Emergency Service’s main department in the region reported on July 2.
“Pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine carry out daily works on clearing the territory of Donetsk region from explosive devices. On June 28-30, the military sappers found and disposed 73 explosive devices,” reads the report.
It was noted that the sappers cleared the territory of 18.42 hectares in Sloviansk, Yasynuvate, Volnovakha, Bakhmut districts and in the city of Toretsk.
