Minister Poltorak discusses defense cooperation with US Senator Lankford

Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak and U.S. Senator James Lankford discussed security in Ukraine in the context of Russia’s armed aggression.
The press service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine reported this on Tuesday.
"Today, May 28, Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak and U.S. Senator James Lankford held a meeting in Kyiv. During the meeting, the sides discussed security in the region, threats and challenges facing the Armed Forces and Ukraine as a whole, and also exchanged views on the possibilities of their solution," the report says.
The minister expressed gratitude to the senator for the consistent support of the United States for Ukraine in the times of Russia’s armed aggression.
The delegations of Ukraine and the United States also discussed the reform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the further need of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the U.S. support.
