Russian-led troops violate ceasefire in Donbas four times, no casualties reported

The armed formations of the Russian Federation violated ceasefire four times in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to launch attacks on Ukrainian defenders,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, Russian-led forces opened fire from 82mm mortars and automatic mounted grenade launchers on Ukrainian troops near Berezove (31km south-west of Donetsk).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy used 82mm mortars, mounted antitank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell Ukrainian positions near Mykolaivka Druha; grenade launchers of different systems and small arms – outside Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk); grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms – in the area of Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk).

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported. The Joint Forces adequately returned fire in response to the enemy’s shooting.

According to intelligence, four invaders were wounded on May 27.

Today, the enemy has already opened fire from 120mm mortars on Ukrainian positions near Marinka (23km south-west of Donetsk). No casualties among Ukrainian troops have been reported.

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire agreements.
