Poltorak surprised at Kolomoisky’s statement about ‘civil war’ in Donbas

He stated this in an interview with the Priamyi TV channel, commenting on the statement by Ihor Kolomoisky, who called Russia's military aggression against Ukraine as "civil conflict."

"I would not like to criticize Mr Kolomoisky. He has helped the Armed Forces since the beginning of Russia's aggression against Ukraine. Frankly speaking, I was also surprised at his statement. I believed that there was not a single person in Ukraine who would think so. I hope that all Ukrainians understand who is fighting in Donbas, what weapon is used and who carried out acts of aggression in Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk. Most countries of the world are aware of this," Poltorak said.

The defense minister once again emphasized that the Russian Federation carried out armed aggression against Ukraine in 2014.
