"During their visit to the frontline village, they met with representatives of one of the most combat ready military intelligence units. The fighters, most of them from the fraternal Lviv region, talked with the guests and entertained them with frontline dishes," the statement reads.
It notes that Ivanenko and Hanushchyn also visited the memorial to Lviv law enforcement officer Taras Dorosh, who died while fulfilling his duties on January 14, 2015.
Both regions are working together on the implementation of the cooperation program "Let's Change the Country Together" as part of which the Lviv official again arrived in Luhansk region. Two more regions of Ukraine are expected to join the program next year.
