Pakistan interested in cooperation with Ukraine in aviation industry – Ukroboronprom

He stated this at the International Defense Exhibition IDEAS-2018, reads a report posted on the website of Ukraine’s state concern Ukroboronprom.

"Pakistan is interested in maximum cooperation with Ukraine in the aviation industry," he said.

Among the promising projects that can be soon implemented, Anwar named the services rendered by Ukroboronprom for major repairs of transport aircraft, which Ukraine had supplied, the training of Pakistani specialists, who have already arrived in Ukraine, regarding the repair of certain units, and the repair and modernization of the Pakistani Air Force helicopters. The parties outlined a series of steps to optimize logistics policy in their relations.

Also, the parties highly praised the bilateral aviation relations. An agreement was reached on the analysis and monitoring of all current bilateral agreements, which will form the basis of a roadmap for further deeper bilateral relations.

The Ukrainian delegation stressed that it was ready to provide the widest range of aircraft repair services to Pakistan.

The 10th International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) is held in the city of Karachi, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on November 27 - 30.
