Muzhenko, Chief Monitor of OSCE SMM discuss situation in Donbas

Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko and Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) Ertugrul Apakan have discussed the situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation in Donbas, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
“The parties discussed in detail the situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation in Donbas. The chief of the General Staff noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine adhere to the Minsk agreements and are making every effort to reduce the level of tension in the JFO area,” the General Staff reported.
Muzhenko also congratulated the newly appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Mission, Mark Etherington, who has extensive experience in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.
