Ukraine’s Interior Ministry strengthens cooperation with Turkey in countering organized and international crime

The Interior Ministry of Ukraine strengthens cooperation with Turkey in the fight against organized and international crime.

"Cooperation with Turkey remains important for the Interior Ministry. We continue and strengthen cooperation between our countries. We focus on a joint program to counter organized and international crime. It is important we have a common vision - only tough measures," Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said during a meeting with leadership of the General Directorate of Security of Turkey, the press service of the Interior Ministry reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed other issues of law-enforcement cooperation, including the continuation of provision of assistance for the development of the National Police of Ukraine.
