Ukrainian, Lithuanian and Latvian military to observe command post exercise of Armed Forces of Belarus

"On September 10-11, military observers from the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania and Ukraine will participate in monitoring over the command post exercises of the Armed Forces conducted on the territory of the Republic of Belarus," the Defense Ministry of Belarus reported.

The Defense Ministry also noted that the exercises according to its parameters under the provisions of the Vienna Document 2011 on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures are not subject to monitoring. The Republic of Belarus on a voluntary basis invited representatives from three neighboring states to monitor the course of the said military exercises.
