Russian-backed militants launched 20 attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.

“Russian-occupation forces used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, small arms and sometimes weapons on infantry fighting vehicles to fire on the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk), Zalizne (39km north of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Novoselivka Druha (23km north of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). In addition, the enemy used weapons on infantry fighting vehicles to shell Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk),” the JFO Headquarters press center reported.

No casualties among Ukrainian soldiers were reported in last day.

According to the intelligence, two militants were wounded.

Today, militants have already opened fire three times on Ukrainian troops near Lebedynske and Shyrokyne.
