Militants launched 45 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 45 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The situation in the JFO area remains controlled by Ukrainian troops. Russian-occupation launched 45 attacks on Ukrainian positions, using the weapons banned under the Minsk agreements three times. The enemy used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire on the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk), Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk), Novomykhailivka (28km south-west of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Bohdanivka (41km south-west of Donetsk),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.

In addition, the invaders opened fire from 82mm mortars on positions of Joint Forces near Novoluhanske, Hnutove and Lebedynske. The enemy sniper group was detected near Marinka.

One Ukrainian serviceman was killed and another two were wounded in shelling in last day. According to the intelligence, one militant was killed and four more were wounded.

Today, Russian-occupation troops have already launched four attacks on Ukrainian troops outside Opytne, Novomykhailivka, Pavlopol and Shyrokyne. The heavy weapons have not been used so far. No casualties among Ukrainian troops have been reported.
