Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 17 times in last day

Militants launched 17 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

“Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire regime 17 times, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements three times. Militants fired on Ukrainian troops outside Orikhove (75km north of Luhansk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk), Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

Moreover, the enemy used 82mm mortars three times near the Svitlodarsk arc and committed yet another provocation in the area of disengagement to disrupt the agreements of the Trilateral Contact Group.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops in last day were reported.

According to the intelligence, two militants were killed and another five were wounded.

Today, militants have already opened fire on Ukrainian troops near Pisky and Vodiane.
