Parubiy says military assistance for Ukraine may grow in 2018-2019

He said this at a final press conference dedicated to the official closure of the eighth parliament’s session on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I expect that the military assistance for Ukraine will grow this year and next year as well. I was in the Pentagon in Washington, and we hope we will have very close cooperation and very substantial assistance to increase the defense capability of our army," Parubiy said.

He added that the Ukrainian partners want Ukraine to have transparent rules in the defense sector, in particular regarding the management of state property objects in the military-industrial complex.
