Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 23 times in last day
“Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire regime 23 times, using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, small arms and IFV weapons,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.
In Luhansk direction, the ceasefire regime was observed.
In Svitlodarsk direction, Ukrainian positions near Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk) and Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk) came under fire of automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants shelled Ukrainian positions outside Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Nevelske (18km north-west of Donetsk), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, small arms and IFV weapons.
In Mariupol direction, the tense situation was observed in the area of Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), where the enemy opened fire from grenade launchers, small arms and IFV weapons. Unfortunately, one Ukrainian serviceman was wounded.
