Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 36 times in last day

“Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire regime 36 times, using heavy weapons nine times,” the report reads.

In Luhansk direction, the combat intensity significantly decreased compared to the previous days. The militants once again thwarted the withdrawal of troops in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska, having opened fire from small arms.

In Debaltseve direction, the units of the joint forces actively defended their positions outside Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk). 

In Donetsk direction, the militants were more aggressive near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk). Our defenders with adequate return fire did not allow the enemy moving to more active actions.

In Mariupol direction, the tense situation was observed outside Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol). The defenders of Mariupol reliably held positions and did not allow the occupants improving their tactical positions.

Ukrainian servicemen were neither killed nor wounded in fighting in last day.

According to the intelligence, one militant was killed and one more was wounded in last day.
