Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 49 times in last day

"Over the past day, May 22, Russian-occupation forces, neglecting the Minsk agreements and international humanitarian law, violated the ceasefire regime 49 times, using 152mm and 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars in 13 cases... One Ukrainian soldier was killed, three more soldiers were wounded in fighting in last day. No casualties have been reported today," the report reads.
In Luhansk direction, the enemy fired heavy machine gun at the village of Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), trying to weaken the defensive lines of Ukrainian troops near Troitske (69km west of Luhansk).
The units of the joint forces actively defended their positions outside Travneve, Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk) in Horlivka direction and near Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) in Donetsk direction.
The situation escalated in Mariupol direction outside Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). Militants also opened fire from 152mm artillery on Ukrainian village of Talakivka. No casualties among civilians were reported. The industrial buildings in the village were damaged.
According to the intelligence, four militants of the Russian-terrorist troops were killed and four more were wounded.
