Militants launched 21 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

In particular, according to the Headquarters, the situation in the JFO area remained tense during the past day, May 3, and overnight into May 4. The armed hostilities took place mainly in Donetsk, Svitlodarsk and Mariupol directions. The enemy tried to weaken the defensive positions of Ukrainian troops neglecting the Minsk accords.

"Russian-backed militants launched 21 attacks in last day and three attacks overnight into May 4, using prohibited weapons near Svitlodarsk (55km north-west of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Prychepylivka (50km north-west of Luhansk), Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) and Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol). According to the intelligence, two militants were killed and another three were wounded," reads the report.

According to the press center, no casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported in last 24 hours and as of 07:00 May 4.
