Ukraine's state-owned enterprise Zhytomyr Armored Plant has upgraded the combat module "Duplet," which is intended for the modernization of armored vehicles, and it has passed successful tests, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has reported on his Facebook page.

"The upgraded combat module 'Duplet,' which is intended for the modernization of armored vehicles, has passed successful tests," Poroshenko wrote.

He also noted that Zhytomyr Armored Plant had significantly increased the characteristics of the combat module and equipped it with an improved fire system, which helps accompany targets in automatic mode, calculate the ballistics of ammunition and accurately fire both in the daytime and the nighttime.
