In Donetsk direction, Russian-occupation formations fired 40 rockets from the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system on Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol). Terrorists also used 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Lebedynske. Invaders also opened fire from 122mm artillery and 120mm mortars at ATO positions near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). The Ukrainian strongholds outside Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk) came under 82mm and 120mm mortar fire. Russian-occupation formations also opened fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms at Ukrainian positions near Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Nevelske (18km north-west of Donetsk).
In Luhansk direction, Russian-backed militants shelled Ukrainian positions outside Popasna (90 km north-west of Luhansk) and Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), using 82mm mortars, 122mm artillery and IFV weapons. Terrorists fired grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms at ATO troops near Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk). In addition, illegal armed formations also used grenade launchers and sniper weapons to shell Ukrainian positions near Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), IFV weapons – near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), heavy machine guns – near Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), small arms – near Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk).
One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another one was wounded in enemy shelling.
