Over 225,200 servicepersons of Armed Forces granted ATO participant status

Over 225,200 servicepersons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who participated in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine, were granted the status of participant of combat actions.

Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Spokesperson for ATO issues, Colonel Dmytro Hutsuliak said this at a press briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“According to the data provided by the defense ministry’s staff policy department, over 225,200 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already received the status of participant of combat actions - ATO participant,” he said.
