UAH 800 mln to be allocated to National Guard this year – Groysman

This year, the amount of budgetary allocations for the needs of the National Guard of Ukraine makes up UAH 800 million.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this during a visit to the International Interdepartmental Multidisciplinary Training Center for National Guard units, the Governmental portal reported.

"For four years we managed to create conditions (for work of the National Guard), we will prolong our activities to provide support to the troops. This year, we allocate UAH 800 million for the needs of the National Guard. The Ministry (of Internal Affairs) has a strategy (for development of the National Guard), we will invest in it. Let's keep abreast with the times," Groysman said.

According to the prime minister, the Government has always provided and will prolong full support and assistance for the National Guard. "The National Guard officers have decent conditions to become better, and each of your will win honor and respect of our citizens," he added.

The International Interdepartmental Multidisciplinary Training Center will shortly become one of the major training facilities for law enforcement agencies.
