Cyber forces to be created in the ranks of Ukraine’s Armed Forces – National Defense Council Secretary

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine is studying the issue of creation of the cyber forces in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov said this at the opening of the Cyber Threat Response Center, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Modern warfare is impossible without the cyber defense and, unfortunately, without the cyber attacks. I want to tell you that one of the issues under consideration in the National Cybersecurity Center [at the NSDC] is the creation of cyber forces in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is a serious issue, and we are studying it," Turchynov said.
He added that both the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and the military intelligence work in the direction of cyber defense, since "our task is to protect the country."
